Waterproof fabric

PUL : soft, flexible and easy to sew

"PUL" stands for PolyUrethan Laminate, it is a 100% waterproof fabric with high breathability features. This fabric is easy to sew to make all kinds of things where waterproofness is required along with the ability to be washed and reused numerous times. It was initially designed for medical usage, to make reusable surgical gowns, curtains or bed protection. In the DIY world it is mostly used to make cloth nappies ! It's also a great fabric for mattress protection, baby bibs, chair covers, change mats, pets beds or any usage where protection agains liquid is required.

PUL made in EU

Solid colors waterproof fabric, made in Europe and certified to have innocuity of the fabric for long time contact with baby skin.

• standard version : Polyester knit fabric, glued with a waterproof polyurethan film. Wash up to 40° maximum. Do not tumble dry.
• coated version : Polyester knit fabric, coated with waterproof polyurethan, the coating is applied as a liquid and totally melts into the fabric. Wash up to 90°C. Medium machine dry is OK.
• organic version: Organic cotton jersey, glued with a waterproof polyurethan film. Wash up to 40° maximum. Do not tumble dry.

PUL USA

• PUL USA polyester : Polyester knit fabric, glued with a waterproof polyurethan film. Wash up to 40° maximum. Do not tumble dry. Made in the USA.
• PUL USA cotton, fleece or minky : Cotton or polyester fleece fabric, glued with a waterproof polyurethan film. Wash up to 30° maximum. Do not tumble dry. Made in the USA. Beware that cotton PUL colors tend to faint along with washing.

Coated Cotton

This is a cotton print, glued with a waterproof polyurethan film on the printed side
This is great to make table mats, pencil cases, toiletry cases, rain wear for kids, ... But beware that this fabric needs to be hand washed with a sponge, do not machine wash !
